Requirements: You need to have FOREIGN CULTURES researched of the SEAFARING research branch and a level 1 embassy in any town in order to apply for the alliance and one free Diplomacy point. (Creating an Embassy gives 3) This is not the ALLIANCE's requirement, this is what the GAME requires of you. Alliances cannot send out invitations, you have to apply to join.

Procedure To Apply: (1) Go to your Embassy. (2) Click the "Search for Alliance" button (3) Enter Fortion Empire into the alliance name field of the search inquiry. (4) Enter a short message and the application will be sent to the Alliance leader immediately.

Additional Information: The alliance is like a guild in any other game, but the ranks are kind of lame, and undeveloped, they are going to be improving the alliance function though sometime i read on the Ikariam forums. But for now, there are not many ranks or "posts" in alliances. If the leader gives away his Post that he has to other members, he loses the privileges that come with the various posts, which is not good. And since the Leader is probably the most active player, he needs to be able to see everything from all the ranks/posts. The army, the resources, the cities, etc.
But I do want certain members to have higher ranks then other players, so until Ikariam adds them in the game, we will just have to post them here.
